It has been a couple of months since the last blgntry (neologism?). I had a long drive to San Luis Obispo for the La Guitarra Fest.  Sold one guitar there and another upon my return.  Been busy since then with the start-up of classes at the U, and my son Jacob’s (and daughter -inlaw Rachel) wedding in the Catskill mts in NY.

A customer put a nasty ding in the top of a guitar I built for him several years ago, and sent it to me for repair (and adjustment).   The finish on the back was, well, corrupted, and I wanted to fix it before sending it back.  I didn’t want to heat the garage just for finishing the back so I got this kitchen island.

Hopefully I can remember how to post the gallery again.  Distributed practice….
