Lettre a lettre: a poem/barcarole

This guitar hurts beautiful
The tune it plays is gentle:
rocking waves upon hull
I hold it to my breast
the aching wave shivers keel
and ribs enclosing heart
It makes my sternum hurt
right there, above the heart
An artery that contains
every beat seldom felt
A tune, a memory
sweetly mysterious
Here nothing approaches
Nothing moves in the reeds
near my boat, animals
lurk rapt without a breath
I feel rustle
splash
vapor

I’m response-less for the moment. OK. Here’s another. Could jeopardize my status. 5 syllables per line.
      Row Row Row your boat
      Gently down the stream
      Life is but a dream
      Always merrily
