“New Moon.” This guitar has been placed with a loving owner. October 2017
Here is a simple recording (no reverb or editing) I did to add to this page.
Mi-longue, composed by Roland Dyens.
A Hauser style instrument that I re-topped. It now plays beautifully and easily with a singing voice and sustain that is intoxicating but controllable. It sounds great and has lots of ‘reserve headroom’. Excellent intonation.
- Double Sides. Figured Rosewood. Curly figure on Spanish cedar neck.
- 650 mm scale length. 52.5 mm wide at nut. 43 mm string spacing at nut, and 58 mm at saddle. The neck is a a nice C shape.
- French polished shellac, well cured.
- Sloane low-friction tuning machines.
