The third triplet – see-through cedar

Originally this was to be a solid double top. (Good things come in threes)
But I decided to make another channeled double top.

Usually cedar is opaque to light. However, after routing the channels, the remaining shell of cedar is veneer thin. Light comes through cedar.

I made it with channels so it would be light, and here it is, transmitting light!
