Here is what the set looks like… the matching face.
Lines give me a shortcut to determining the matching faces. The pieces are opened like a book to show the matching face. This may or may not end up being used for the outer face of the guitar… sometimes there are other considerations.
Lines don’t match this way.
Let’s evaulate this set for use with the Hauser pattern…
It looks as thought this set is good for this pattern.
This one has a pocket of sap… or two!
The pattern of the style that I plan to use. I want defects outside of the pattern.
The knot is outside of the pattern.
I’m holding the matching sides together and up the light. A ruler is behind and there is a lamp behind that.
Holding the spruce up to the light shows a few things that will affect how it is used.
Plus, it is sort of fun
And pretty.
