I think you may be looking at the tape…
It’s not uncommon to use multiple pieces for a an 8 string, but this was wide enough.
It has the tape just so I could see a line to cut to. It also has a graphite bar, off-center and covered up with some cedro…
Ahhh…..that’s what it is. Kind of an optical illusion.
I wasn’t sure because like you said multiple piece necks are common with these big necks. Very Cool. Thanks!
