Back from Carmel Retreat

It’s good to be home. The retreat at Asilomar was good, but “There’s no place like home”. True, Dorothy.

I met and bonded with many guitarist and guitar lovers. That was fun. I shared what I could, as a player and builder. I shared some of my methods and played some music with a flutist. I played in a master class for Bill Kanengiser. I met and heard Evan Hirschelman, guitarist and composer, who is pursuing not only classical, but also a finger tapping style of playing classical. And there was a concert by Hao Yang, who is only 25, and played a magnificent, astounding concert.

I could go on, but I’ll sign off with this.

Thank you Carmel Guitar Society for the first annual guitar retreat!
