Wood for a ‘deluxe’ Sundog

These are just a few sets I have that would be suitable for a Hauser style instrument… “Deluxe”
The dark patches are where I applied Naptha to simulate the color when finished.
I have more that would be good, but this is just a selection
… also some smaller, that require a center insert

    On the last pic, I think the sapwood on the opposite side as the template would be interesting.

    I really love that set in picture 4. Just call me old-school, but I can’t get past that simple super straight grain. I love it! Plus, the name Hauser is in the pic…..how apropos.
