La Carinosa by Jose Romanillos

In 2004, I went to Siguenza in Spain, to build a guitar with Jose Romanillos. Jose had just strung up a guitar, La Carinosa. I asked to spend some time with the guitar, made measurements, took pictures, played it a little.
Recently an article was published in Orfeothat brought back some memories of this guitar, and the workshop in Siguenza, and the individuals I worked with there. I’ll post some pictures of other stuff sometime, but for now, have a look at La Carinosa.

I thought I’d add some pictures from 2004. The guitar was ‘finished’ with an egg-white. It is a quick way to seal and protect the wood.
